Simply Broadband and Broadband Compare are both parts of Global Compare Group.
Because of this relationship, Simply Broadband may appear on Broadband Compare alongside other broadband providers. We believe it is important that you know about this relationship so you can understand how our businesses are connected when using our comparison services.
Separate Teams and Responsibilities
Although the businesses are part of the same wider group, the Simply Broadband team have no involvement with Broadband Compare operations.
The Simply Broadband team is responsible for operating the broadband service, including customers, products, pricing, network and support.
Global Compare Group then have an editorial team that is responsible for producing consumer-focused content, reviews, rankings, guides and recommendations.
The Global Compare Group commercial team then manages advertising, partnerships and other commercial relationships.

Simply Broadband Reviews
Reviews of Simply Broadband on Broadband Compare are subject to the same review principles as reviews of other broadband providers.
Global Compare Group will not remove a negative review simply because Simply Broadband is part of our wider group, nor do they give Simply Broadband preferential treatment because of that relationship.
Where reviews are moderated, they are assessed against the published review moderation policy, regardless of which provider they relate to.
How Simply Broadband is Compared and Ranked
Simply Broadband plans may appear in comparisons on Broadband Compare alongside plans from other providers.
Simply Broadband plans are ranked and assessed using the same relevant criteria as other providers, such as price, speed, features, contract terms, availability and other factors relevant to the particular comparison. You can find out how Broadband Compare ranks broadband plans here.
Simply Broadband does not automatically receive a higher ranking because it is part of Global Compare Group.
Our Commitment To Consumers

- assess Simply Broadband plans using the same comparison criteria applied to other providers;
- not allow advertising or commercial arrangements to guarantee positive editorial coverage;
- correct inaccurate information when identified; and
- put the interests of consumers at the centre of our comparison and editorial content.
In short: Global Compare Group owns Simply Broadband as well as the comparison websites NZ Compare and Broadband Compare, and we believe you should know that.
While the businesses operate within the same wider group, the editorial and comparison processes are designed to apply the same standards and criteria to Simply Broadband as they do to other providers.
